HTML to PDF Converter

Convert HTML to PDF from a public HTTP or HTTPS webpage URL. PrivatePDF’s Website to PDF tool renders the page in a temporary isolated browser on our server, then lets you preview and download the PDF. HTML file uploads are not supported.

Enable JavaScript to enter a public webpage URL and use the dedicated server renderer. Rendering does not run locally in your browser.

How to Convert HTML to PDF

  1. Enter the public HTTP or HTTPS address of the webpage you want to convert.
  2. Choose Create PDF and sign in or create an account if prompted. Keep this page open while the website renderer processes the page.
  3. Review the generated PDF preview, then choose Download PDF to save your document.

Why Convert a Website to PDF?

Save a webpage as PDF for offline reading, share a document copy, or keep a printable reference. Website to PDF conversion captures the supported page at the submitted address; it does not download an entire website or preserve interactive features.

Review the PDF before sharing or printing it. Page layout, fonts, images, and dynamic content can differ from the live website. Private-network and intranet addresses are blocked, and the renderer does not bypass sign-in, human verification, or website access restrictions.

HTML to PDF FAQ

How do I convert HTML to PDF?

Enter a supported public webpage URL, choose Create PDF, and sign in if prompted. Wait for rendering to finish, review the PDF preview, and choose Download PDF. This tool converts the HTML served at that address; it does not accept uploaded HTML files.

Can I save a webpage as a PDF?

Yes, from a supported public HTTP or HTTPS URL. The downloaded PDF can be used for offline reading, sharing, or printing. Websites requiring sign-in or human verification are not supported, and some sites block automated access. Fonts, dynamic content, and layouts may differ from the live page.

Can I convert an HTML file to PDF?

Not by uploading it here. This tool accepts webpage URLs only, not local .html or .htm files or pasted HTML. If the page is already available at a publicly accessible HTTP or HTTPS address, you can enter that URL instead.

Is the HTML to PDF converter free?

Yes, within the Free plan’s 10 PDF jobs per month, shared across PrivatePDF tools. An account is required to start conversion, and each completed conversion uses one job. Free conversions are not unlimited.
